FREE charts for Baby Steps 0, 1 & 2

You'll notice that not all the charts on Debt Free Charts are free. I want to always have free charts for those just starting out and slogging through the hard beginning. Because make no mistake, it's not easy, but it is worth it!

If you've read Dave Ramsey's books on getting out of debt, he breaks down the process into Baby Steps. Baby Step 0 is getting current on all your bills, Baby Step 1 is saving up your first Emergency Fund, and Baby Step 2 is paying off all your debt (except the mortgage). So the charts for those steps, BS0. BS1 and BS2, will always be free. These include the Get Current, Starter Emergency Fund, all the Credit Card charts, Car Loan, tax, medical and dental bills, and even some amazing game style charts like Debt Free Land, Game of Loans, and Debtris.

Charts for steps further along the journey are super affordable. If you are saving up for a vacation or motorcycle or a downpayment for a house, a few dollars to help you stay on track and motivate you to get there faster is a no-brainer.

Sales of the charts are what makes it possible to give away so many free ones. Without the income from the paid charts, this website couldn't exist without being a drain on our personal finances.

Still, I hope that this structure makes it possible for you to get to your debt freedom. I am happy to provide visual motivation to help you along your way.

  • This is so great! It was totally intuitive to me that the charts that are free are the getting-out-of-debt charts and the ones that cost a little are the saving up for next goals charts. I love the kindness in this, and am excited to get to come back for the next goals charts sometime soon! :)

  • I heard about your website from The Budget Mom. For the people who are more “visual” for staying on track, this is awesome. Way to go Heidi…and thank you!!!!!! So creative. I can’t wait to get started.

  • Hey, how do I re-download charts that I have previously downloaded and are listed in my account? I got a new computer and can no longer download them.

Adorable charts

These are fun to color and watch your progress! I am glad I got them.

Sure makes paying off debt more fun!

Thank you for giving me something that finally makes paying debt a little more fun!

Great charts!

Love the charts, absolutely free, no strings attached. Easy, safe download and print. These will work perfectly for helping my son pay off a small debt and see his progress.

A clear motivating picture

Let’s face it debt sucks but these totally free charts have been eye opening and motivating. I printed these all to A5 size and already have colored in a few boxes. I love that what seemed insurmountable before now seems doable. (Like if I pay and extra $100 dollars I can color in another box). I have a really really really long way to go but I now have a clear picture on all of my debts (without adding more debt to the pile). Thank you for these fun charts.
