 This chart is inspired by my love of setting tiered goals.

I love tiered goals for two reasons:

  1. That Best goal is out there inspiring me to try new things, to wonder "what could I do that might actually get me there?"
  2. That Good goal is there as a baseline, something I am pretty confident I can reach

So no matter where I end up I am pleased with the progress, because it will be in the Good zone no matter what I accomplish.

Use this chart for short term or long term goals. It could even be used for non monetary goals, like how many minutes you exercise this month, or how many pages you read.
