About a year ago, I found Heidi's charts and decided to use the student loan + big emergency fund charts as motivation to learn to budget and to start working out that saving muscle....
In one year, me and my family of 4, (on 1 income) was able to finish paying off over 6k student loans and save up 5K emergency fund because of the motivation these charts gave us! I attached them to the wall as a constant reminder of our financial goals. Thank you so much Heidi for creating these charts and making them pretty as well! We still have those charts displayed at home as a constant reminder of the hard work that was put into this but mostly by the reward of accomplishing something so grand in a year. 🤍
